I am relieved. The "Vendaface" machine WAS real.

For years I have been mentioning to people that there used to be this machine backstage for the first couple of seasons of the Muppet Show that would painfully re-arrange the muppets faces.

Nobody else I know seems to remember this machine.

Well, after some serious googling, I found it.
